Brock Lesnar Makes Surprise Return To WWE Raw
The Beast immediately mixes it up with Cody Rhodes, but what's next for these two?
Brock Lesnar's summer hiatus is officially over.
After losing to Lesnar at Night of Champions in May, Cody Rhodes wanted to fight the Beast again (having won the first encounter between the two), but he noted that Brock was on his summer break. That didn't stop Cody from issuing an open challenge and begging Lesnar to answer it.
Monday night on Raw, Brock finally answered the call, showing up seconds after Rhodes came out to the ring. Cody didn't hesitate, charging up the aisle to attack Lesnar, with the two brawling back down to the ring, where the Beast tried to get Cody up for an F-5, but Rhodes slipped out and nailed a Cody Cutter instead.

No match or stipulation has been announced yet, but Cody's promo later -- where he talked about fighting Brock any night, every night -- and their brawl seem to indicate that this likely SummerSlam match could be a Falls Count Anywhere or no-DQ stip to allow them to really go wild.
Brock lost to Cody at Backlash before breaking Rhodes' arm so bad it needed to be put in a cast, which has since been removed. During the monthlong hiatus in the Brock/Cody feud, Rhodes occupied himself by defeating Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank Saturday night.
