Brock Lesnar reportedly turned down the chance to wrestle Bray Wyatt at this year's WrestleMania 39 supershow.

Fightful Select said "sources familiar with the situation" told them that Brock was the one who nixed any chance of the bout happening, but the site isn't sure on specific reasons why. They also reported that both Steve Austin, Bobby Lashley and GUNTHER were also taken off the table - the latter wasn't discussed for very long before being scrapped, and WWE already burned through a Lashley/Lesnar rematch at Elimination Chamber last month.

Now, Lesnar is set to collide with towering giant Omos on one of the nights in Hollywood this April. That came out of left field for most fans, but others (including WrestleVotes) have intimated that Vince McMahon is behind this booking.

It is fairly clear that Brock wasn't sold on working with Wyatt come 'Mania. Instead, Bray will presumably clash with Bobby Lashley on the card(s) and Lesnar will work opposite Omos. Most fans tweeting about the situation on social media were taken aback by this, because it did seem like Brock vs. Bray could be a feasible marquee attraction.
