Despite being previously advertised for the WrestleMania Backlash premium live event, Brock Lesnar has now been pulled from that show by WWE.

Earlier in the year saw WWE advertised Lesnar for both 'Mania Backlash and the Money in the Bank event. With Vince McMahon's sports entertainment behemoth having now updated their Events page on WWE.com, the Beast Incarnate has been removed from the Backlash listings.

As of this writing, Brock is still listed for Money in the Bank later in the year. Emanating from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium, that premium live event is scheduled for Saturday 2 July. Whether Lesnar ends up removed from that show too, that remains to be seen.

Lesnar himself hasn't been seen since losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 Night 2, and last week's SmackDown positioned Shinsuke Nakamura as the next challenger for the Head of the Table's Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. As such, many were pondering what exactly Brock would be doing at Backlash. No we know the answer to that question - which is absolutely nothing!

At this stage, the only two matches made official for WrestleMania Backlash are Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins, and Charlotte Flair defending the SmackDown Women's Title against Ronda Rousey in an I Quit contest. Backlash takes place on 8 May from Providence, Rhode Island's Dunkin' Donuts Center.
