Brock Lesnar Scheduled For 30-Man WWE Royal Rumble Match?
Goldberg is going to have some stiff competition.
The Royal Rumble is still over two months away, and it looks like we may already have two huge participants locked in for the iconic match.
On last night's Raw, Goldberg was announced to appear in the Rumble, and according to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Brock Lesnar will be joining him.
It's already been speculated that Lesnar would be showing up in some form at the event, but this latest news indicates that he will be in the Rumble itself, and not just making an un-announced appearance to toss Goldberg out of the ring to set up a WrestleMania rematch.
Hopefully this news is true, as Lesnar and Goldberg in the Rumble certainly makes it a more intriguing spectacle. The show is taking place at the Alamodome, which is why WWE is hyping the event much further out than usual. Giving fans something to look forward to that far in advance is another positive, and something the company hasn't done much of these past few years.
Lesnar competing in the match has not been officially announced yet, but if the report is correct, we should see that play out on TV in the coming weeks.
