Brock Lesnar is expected to rematch with John Cena at October's Hell In A Cell special event. Presumably this will be inside the Cell structure, with the WWE title on the line in a decisive encounter. This follows Lesnar's victory over Cena at SummerSlam and the DQ victory that Cena attained over Brock at Night Of Champions. With one victory apiece, the 2014 Cena-Lesnar trilogy seems perfectly poised to complete on October 26th. Insider journalist Bryan Alvarez confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that last night's Cena victory "Appears to be setting up a Hell In A Cell match for October." The Night Of Champions encounter was met with dire musings from the internet wrestling community. Chief in the criticism was the Seth Rollins run-in that ended the main event in a DQ win for Cena. Even before this, the match had failed to live up to the standards of the SummerSlam main event. Cena got much more offense in and Lesnar looked pretty much defeated up until the Rollins entrance. In terms of storyline, this didn't stack up. In the space of a month, Brock has gone from extraordinary to ordinary again. WWE now look to be heading to Brock Vs Cena at Hell In A Cell. "That was an elaborate means of setting up Brock-Cena in HIAC, right?" respected pro wrestling author David Shoemaker commented on Twitter. The sentiment had been followed up by the majority in the internet wrestling community - a third match seems a given right now. There isn't a whole lot of other main event options for WWE in truth; the lack of a number two guy in Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and now Roman Reigns has really hurt the structure of WWE's product. Not that fans will be complaining. Cena vs Lesnar in the combative environment of Hell In A Cell should be an absolute blockbuster.
