Bryan Danielson has definitively stated: "No, I'm not back".

The popular workhorse returned at AEW's All In Texas pay-per-view on 12 July to fend off members of The Death Riders faction during a main event between (faction leader) Jon Moxley and Hangman Page. That, in turn, led to Page winning the AEW World Championship from Mox following a 35-minute 'Texas Death Match'.

Danielson hit a knee strike on Wheeler Yuta, a dive spot on both Claudio Castagnoli and Gabe Kidd, then brawled to the back with The Death Riders unit. Unsurprisingly, fans there live in attendance went nuts for Bryan's comeback, but he's since said via The Nikki & Brie Show that he's most definitely not back as an active talent.

Bryan's wife Brie apparently didn't even know he was going to be getting physical at the event. She fielded texts and messages from friends asking if her husband was back on AEW TV for good, but Bella didn't have a clue in the heat of the moment. All she could tell them is: "Well, to my knowledge no...but we’ll see when I talk to him tonight!".

Both Brie and Bryan acknowledged that Dr. Sampson thought Danielson was "an idiot" for performing some of the moves he did at All In. Bella also wanted to know whether or not her hubby was "supposed to do the moves he did". Admittedly, Bryan only had some of the spots cleared on the night.

Danielson hasn't wrestled since dropping AEW's top prize to Moxley at WrestleDream in October 2024. That hasn't stopped wrestling fans from daydreaming about seeing him in action again, but most agree his health is paramount over anything else. Following All In Texas, Bryan has put rumours of an in-ring return to bed.
