The recent (and admittedly, forced) NXT invasion has raised the possibility of a number of delectable contests for this year's Survivor Series, with just about any of the proposed matches decidedly mouthwatering.

We're already getting a bona fide dream match in the form of Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Shayna Baszler, and it looks like we could be served up an equally tasty triple threat involving Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles and Roderick Strong.

According to Dave Meltzer, writing in this week's issue of the Wrestling Observer newsletter, WWE's original plan was to host a secondary championship match, which at present would be between US Champ Shinsuke Nakamura, NXT North American title holder Strong, and US champion Styles. Intriguingly, Meltzer notes that the current configuration won't be the final bout, whilst speculating on the fact Daniel Bryan is currently working a programme with Nakamura.

What that means is that, should Nakamura be the component altered, we'd get the utterly lip-licking prospect of Bryan vs. Styles vs. Strong.

On the subject of 'The Phenomenal One', the Observer also reports that Styles and his OC buddies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson look set to take on a three-man grouping of The Undisputed Era in the coming weeks, following the former's attack on this Wednesday's edition of NXT. Meltzer writes that it's unlikely to be a Survivor Series affair, but more likely to take place on an upcoming episode of Raw or NXT TV.
