Carlito Rejects WWE Low Money Offer To Return

Will return if a greater sum is offered.

Carlito has rejected an offer to return to WWE, due to the low money that was offered. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that if better money is offered, he would take the deal. WWE are keen to sign their former "Carribean Cool" star, as part of their efforts to engage the large and lucrative latin audience. The Observer report states that WWE had wanted Carlito to be part of the Los Matadores repackaging, which has been discussed but not finalised. Carlito is the brother of Diego and Fandango, so it would make some sense, but it is hardly a spot worth coming back for. Still, if the money is right, he's willing to come on board. At age 36, one last big money run would be appealing to the Colon family star. But he has to factor in that he's making decent money on the indies and in Puerto Rico, without any of the expenses and time that WWE superstars must sacrifice. WWE may come in with an improved offer. Carlito is a charismatic talker, and is decent in the ring. He's also got a little name value, from his initial six year run with WWE which started in 2004.
