WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that none other than Chad Gable could be in line for a monster push on episodes of WWE Raw heading into SummerSlam season this August. Sources behind the scenes want Chad "to have a prominent presence" on the big summertime PLE this year.

For the record, Gable is from Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is the site of SummerSlam 2026. Will that count for anything during booking meetings with Triple H and his creative team? Maybe/maybe not, but people have been impressed by the work Chad put in as (the original) El Grande Americano in AAA ahead of his return to mainline WWE television.

Since then, he's been booked as a babyface and apologised to various lucha stars like Penta, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix. Things could well be heating up for Gable at the right time, and you won't find many fans voting against the idea of pushing him to the forefront.

Most know how talented the technician is. He's shown he can work wonderful matches, get comedy over, act as an effective heel and now rally support behind him as a face. That range should stand him in good stead, if WWE life is fair that is.

WrestleVotes/Fightful also noted that merchandise site Fanatics is "flabbergasted" at how well an auction for Gable's ring worn El Grande Americano mask went. Now, they're even considering putting items up for auction before matches have even taken place, so it must've pulled some high numbers.

Fingers crossed on that TV push.
