WWE's women will headline WrestleMania for the first time in history on 7 April, but as things currently stand, this year's main event won't be Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey.

This is the story coming out of last night's Monday Night Raw, during which Vince McMahon hit 'The Man' with a 60-day suspension that'll expire five days after WrestleMania 35, before introducing her replacement: "someone with charisma and charm, who can take Ronda to the limit," Charlotte Flair.

Having clashed with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H last week, Lynch was officially invited to Raw by the powers that be. The McMahons then insisted that Becky apologise to them before they'd reinsert her into the Rousey bout.

Lynch spent her night deliberating, and taking counsel from the likes of Finn Balor, Rousey herself and Alexa Bliss, before hitting the ring, apologising, and seemingly taking her main event spot. That's when a doolally Vince McMahon swapped her for Flair.

The angle didn't get over in the building, though it'll be interesting to see how WWE get to the long-rumoured Triple Threat between all three women. Tonight's episode of SmackDown should bring new developments on the matter.
