After WWE announced earlier this week that several superstars will be in Washington, D.C. for a fan fest next month to tie in with UFC Freedom 250, one of those stars, Chelsea Green, has received online criticism for being a part of this event.

For those unaware, UFC Freedom 250 takes place on June 14th and sees UFC running a fight card - headlined by UFC Lightweight Champion Ilia Topuria vs. Interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Justin Gaethje in a unification bout, and Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane for the Interim UFC Heavyweight Title - from the White House's South Lawn.

As part of UFC Freedom 250, there is also a fan fest on June 13th and 14th that features, amongst other things, fighter weigh-ins, live music performances, and meet-and-greets with WWE superstars. Of course, WWE and UFC are both under the TKO banner these days, and Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton, Trick Williams, Bron Breakker, the Miz, and the Usos have been announced for this fan fest.

For Chelsea Green, she's received backlash on social media from people highlighting Chelsea's previous comments on trans rights and how they don't necessarily align with those currently in power at the White House. As one person said, "guess the check cleared."

In response to such comments, Chelsea promised to continue advocating for human rights, noting that "Doing my job and supporting the community are not mutually exclusive."
