It seems like the more Chris Jericho makes his rounds throughout the professional wrestling world, the more he prefers it to WWE.

'Y2J' appeared on SirusXM's Busted Open radio show recently and discussed the likelihood of him taking more bookings outside of WWE. He admitted that he's really taken a liking to being a free agent and having complete control over of himself for the first time in his career, citing WWE's creative process as somewhat of a frustration.

He said; "I'm kind of completely in control and it's fun, ya know? I really enjoy not having to run my ideas that I know are gonna work through a committee of two or three people, or having to wait three hours in front of a door to go pitch it to one guy and hope that he likes it."

Jericho went on to later emphasize that; "in WWE when you work there, once again, you gotta go with whatever it is that he wants to go with. That's fine. When you work for Vince that's just the way it is, but it's fun to not work for Vince right now, and have some of these other ideas you can kind of explore."

'The Ayatolla of Rock and Rolla' has been making himself busy in New Japan Pro Wrestling, currently holding the IWGP Intercontinental Championship while still touring with his band Fozzy. Having also made an appearance at ALL IN recently and discussing the possibility to show up in Impact Wrestling, Jericho has taken his career in non-WWE United States promotions for the first time since leaving WCW in 1999.

Jericho seems to finally be creatively satisfied with the people he's working with for the first time in his career, a feeling Vince McMahon never properly offered to him.
