Chris Jericho has contributed $5,000 dollar to the GoFundMe page set up to cover James 'Kamala' Harris' funeral expenses.

Harris passed away at 70 years old on Sunday, having been admitted to hospital after testing positive for the illness currently sweeping the planet on Wednesday. It was reported that he may have contracted it while attending one of his weekly dialysis appointments.

The last few years of Harris' life hadn't been kind to him, health-wise, with the former 'Ugandan Giant' losing both legs to diabetes and high blood pressure earlier this decade. He was on life support for a few days in November 2017 after undergoing surgery to remove fluid from his heart and lungs. On Sunday, Harris experienced diabetes-related complications as a result of his diagnosis on Wednesday, causing his passing.

Kamala's fund has now surpassed its initial goal of $25,000, which will help cover the costs of the funeral and aid Harris' wife, Emmer Jean, going forward.

This is the latest in a long line of donations from Jericho, who recently contributed $5,000 to Shad Gaspard's fund. WrestlingNews.co has published a near-complete list of his recent philanthropic endeavours.
