Chris Jericho Returned At WWE RAW As Superstar Behind 'It Begins'

Chris Jericho returned on last night's WWE Raw SuperShow from Memphis, Tennessee and revealed himself to be the superstar behind the cryptic "It Begins" promo videos. After a long build up to an appearance where the arena was blacked out before the familiar Jericho pose was seen in silhouette at the top of the ramp, Jericho came to the ring with a good reaction and picked up a microphone to cut a promo. Instead though in a bizarre segment that went well over five minutes (but felt like a life time) Jericho ran around the ring, soaking up the crowd cheering for him (there were several chants of Y2J) and slapping the hands of fans at ringside. He was playing the 80's babyface cheese hero and just when you thought he was going to speak on the mic and do a 180 and cut a heel promo, he ran around the ring some more before walking to the back and ending the segment with an undercurrent of boos. It was completely bizarre and we are no closer to knowing why Jericho has returned but it has certainly got people talking and hopefully next week it will see a pay-off. He almost, almost, turned himself from the big babyface return reaction into a heel by not saying a word.
