At the show on Sunday, Jericho's music hit the P.A. system and he made his arena entrance just as the bell rang to start the main event. That allowed Goldberg to hit the distracted Owens with a Spear, then Jackhammer him for the victory.

Raw on Monday opened with Jericho making his first appearance on the show since Owens turned on him three weeks earlier. The United States Champion demanded to know why "The Prizefighter" assaulted him, and Owens came out to explain his actions. Speaking candidly, he told Jericho that he was never his friend; he simply used him until it stopped suiting his needs. Now that Jericho had cost him his Universal Title, though, he was determined to get revenge.

Jericho responded by challenging Owens to a match at WrestleMania, and the former NXT Champion accepted - if Jericho would put the U.S. Title on the line. When Y2J agreed, the match became official for the show of shows.

WrestleMania airs live on the WWE Network on Sunday, April 2 at 7:00 PM ET.
