In the show's closer, Jericho & Sammy Guevara were defeated by Chuck Taylor & Trent, after the latter was tripped up by a clumsy cameraman. Following the contest, said cameraman revealed himself to be Cassidy, who then jumped the ring and attacked 'Le Champion'.

As Dynamite went off the air, the announcers confirmed that the feuding pair would meet at AEW's two-day event, commencing 1 July.

Last week, Jericho assault 'Freshly Squeezed' with a bag of blood oranges and a baseball bat, as the two's post Double or Nothing spat continued to escalate.

Meanwhile, thanks to winning last night's main event, Best Friends now go on to face AEW Tag Team Champions Hangman Page and Kenny Omega at Fyter Fest.
