To me this is the more plausible expectation. Christian is being used in the same manner or at least along the same lines that Flair was used for WWE's Hall of Fame. Not competing or being used to push or hinder a TNA star directly in a storyline, but just there as a TNA alumni and accepting the accomplishments it has made along with the talent he is inducting.
