Ex-WWE star CJ 'Lana' Perry thinks her old employer has the edge on AEW.

Perry told 'The Bailey Show' that Triple H's company does a better job with "storytelling". She also thinks Tony Khan could do with presenting stories that are more than "just fighting for a wrestling title". That'll erm...go down well with certain pro wrestling fans!

Seriously though, CJ is entitled to her opinion, and she wasn't shy about giving it. The one-time WWE performer said the promotion still does a better job of "resolving conflict in the ring", and said "that’s what makes wrestling special".

Perry has praised All Elite in the past, but typically favours WWE's way of doing things. She thinks the E serves up more "relatable" narratives that successfully mix matches with drama - she isn't so sure AEW does as well with the latter side of things.

It's definitely hard to argue that AEW is more of a traditional pro wrestling product than WWE. However, that has changed slightly since Vince McMahon retired last July and Triple H took control of operations. CJ closed her rant by saying: "I’m here to entertain and put smiles on faces, not just be the best wrestler. That’s where I stand on the two different promotions".
