Damien Sandow arrived on the WWE scene shortly following WrestleMania 28, quickly becoming one of the most hated heels on the SmackDown brand. From there, Sandow embarked on an undefeated streak and engaged in feuds with the likes of Brodus Clay, Team Hell No and even Sheamus. Sandow, a solid in-worker and master of the mic, was rewarded for his efforts at the 2013 Money in the Bank pay-per-view when he captured a contract that earned him a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at any time of his choosing. Unfortunately, Sandow's luck went south when he was unsuccessful in winning the world title from John Cena upon cashing in the contract in October 2013. Since then, Sandow has had a hard time regaining relevance, losing to the likes of R-Truth, Santino Marella and The Great Khali, among others. While Sandow may not be where he should be on the card at the moment, there's no doubting that a feud with CM Punk in 2012 or 2013 would have been total gold. The promos between the two individuals would be worth the feud alone, in addition to the great matches they could produce in the squared circle. Sandow may not be world championship worthy, but working with someone of Punk's caliber could instantly give him credibility as a top-tier competitor. Punk has put over several young talents over the years and a win over the former WWE champion could have done wonders for Sandow's career.
