With the second episode of AEW Collision now in the bag, it was quite the noteworthy night for CM Punk. And, after being heavily booed by certain sections of Toronto's Scotiabank Arena, the Second City Saint addressed the Collision crowd once the show went off the air.

At Collision, the team of Punk, Ricky Starks and FTR came up short against Jay White, Juice Robinson and the Gunns, with Switchblade pinning Starks to get the win.

While this main event match itself was a fun one, the biggest talking point coming out of Collision is the crowd reaction to CM Punk. Unlike the hugely positive reaction received by the Straight-Edge Superstar in Chicago for last week's Collision and Dynamite, the Toronto crowd was extremely mixed this time out - with there plenty of loud boos for Punk.

Once Collision went off the air, the Best in the World grabbed a microphone and addressed the Scotiabank Arena crowd. In a video posted by Denise Salcedo, Punk took responsibility for his team's loss, then gave a slightly backhanded compliment towards the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Of course, many had wondered how AEW audiences would react to CM Punk in markets other than Chicago, with some fans not all that happy with Punk's return in the aftermath of his infamous Brawl Out with the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.

CM Punk and the Bucks and Omega will be in action at Scotiabank Arena tonight as part of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. For the Chicagoan, he takes on Satoshi Kojima in the first round of the men's Owen Hart Cup, whereas Omega defends the IWGP United States Title against Will Ospreay, and Matt and Nick Jackson will be part of a ten-man tag match against the Blackpool Combat Club, Konosuke Takeshita and Shota Umino.
