https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeDRwZMmBRs Want to see more of CM Punk at work in the gym as he works his way towards his UFC debut? Look no further, as he has a new training video out. Punk has been part of the Gracie Breakdown videos for several years now, demonstrating Brazilian Jiu-jitsu techniques used in famous MMA bouts. For many, those videos served as the first introduction to CM Punk as a mixed martial artist. Well, Punk recently filmed another instructional video demonstrating one of his favourite submission techniques, the kimura. The video was filmed at Roufusport, Punk's current training home, and posted to YouTube by MMA House. You can view it above. If you're not familiar with the kimura, it's an arm-lock that essentially hyper-extends the elbow and/or shoulder joint when performed correctly. Punk has trained in BJJ for years, so it's no surprise that he's comfortable demonstrating the move, which he does in this case from guard. Jiu-jitsu will no doubt be a large part of Punk's in-cage style. For those expecting to see him go out and battle in some stand-up wars, think again: while he is working at improving his striking, his first few fights are more than likely going to be slow, grinding bouts where he looks to defend against strikes and secure submissions. No official timetable has been set for Punk's debut, but late 2015/early 2016 seems to be the going belief, with his weight class being the welterweight division.
