The long-rumoured backstage AEW meeting between CM Punk, Chris Jericho, and FTR has already taken place - and it reportedly went well.

PWTorch's Wade Keller has claimed as much, stating that the parties have already gotten together, perhaps last Friday. Keller claimed that this may have been the reason for Punk's visit to Tampa, Florida, which finished on the former AEW World Champion catching the same flight back to Chicago, Illinois as WWE personnel, leading to him attending that night's Raw.

Keller notes that it doesn't look like AEW founder Tony Khan was given a heads-up on the Raw appearance, though this isn't being seen as a big deal.

One source has indicated that the Punk/Jericho/FTR meeting "went well." Fightful Select, meanwhile, reports that the meeting was "relatively uneventful all things considered," despite the duo's well-publicised problems - including Jericho calling Punk out after brawling with The Elite at All Out 2022.

One of Fightful's sources claimed "It's a positive that Jericho and Punk didn't fight," adding "yet" jokingly. Others are of the impression that Punk and Jericho may end up working together without issue, though their respective confrontational histories could come into play.

Suspended since September 2022, Punk is believed to be on the verge of an AEW comeback ahead of the promotion's Saturday brand, Collision, launching in June.
