CM Punk Sets PWTees Record

The Best in the World brings in insane demand for PWTees.

CM Punk was always going to sell a major amount of t-shirts once he appeared on AEW Rampage and revealed his swanky new tee, and so ferocious has the demand been for the Second City Saint's new piece of merch, it's set a new record for Pro Wrestling Tees.

Taking to Twitter, PWTees revealed that Punk has now set a new record for the most t-shirts sold in a 24-hour period.

No official figures have been released as of yet in regards to how many shirts exactly have been sold, or were sold in that initial 24-hour period.

So popular did the 'Best in the World' t-shirt prove, the original version of the tee - as in the ringer style of t-shirt - is no longer available. Instead, PWTees posted the following message, offering different variations of this design.

Due to supply shortages on ringer t-shirts (white tee with black cuffs and neck) we do not have enough ringers in stock. Rather than completely putting the product out of stock, we are now offering it to you on a white t-shirt in many different styles. We will continue to monitor ringer stock and offer the ringer version at a future undetermined date. Ringer tees will still be available at AEW Live Events while supply lasts!
