This week on WWE Network, WWE has promoting that it would be "Warrior Week" with several shows dedicated to the late Ultimate Warrior. Thursday night on WWE Network, they aired a documentary called "Ultimate Legend." The documentary featured comments from several key WWE personnel: - Sting discussed his history with Warrior and how Warrior was. Sting was in a tag team with Warrior when both of them were starting out. They were known as the Blade Runners. They also teamed together in a tag match in WCW during Warrior's brief run in 1998 there. Sting also spoke about Warrior's death saying that what he said on RAW the night before was prophetic. It's believed Sting has signed a WWE deal, so this was one of his first interviews as part of the company. - Triple H mentioned getting the news from his assistant and knowing it would be a tough conversation with Vince because of what Warrior meant to him. As we've written about many times before, Vince always had a rocky relationship with Warrior although they were close friends and reconnected when Warrior signed a Legends deal and agreed to join the Hall of Fame. is history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 his history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 his history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 his history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 his history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 his history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 his history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 his history with Warrior and how Warrior was Read more at http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Sting_Vince_McMahon_Talk_About_The_Ultimate_Warrior_s_Death_CM_Punk_s_Face_Covered_Up.html#eLLIvS4V8JUczuM5.99 - Vince McMahon said it was surreal to hear Warrior had passed and he didn't want to believe it. Vince said the timing of it was as if it was destined to happen that way. Vince said Warrior wasn't one for sympathy and would want people to celebrate his life. That's why WWE has been honoring him the way they have. The other interesting note from the documentary feature about Warrior is that when he was in WWE's offices talking to the merchandising team about Warrior items, there was a Royal Rumble poster in the room. As you can see below, CM Punk's face was covered up by a yellow Post-It note sticker. Whoever put it there really doesn't want CM Punk involved in anything in WWE since he walked out this past January. If you haven't seen the "Ultimate Legend" documentary on WWE Network yet, you should. It's available for viewing in the WWE Network archives.
