CM Punk's Role On This Week's AEW Dynamite Revealed

CM Punk will be a guest commentator on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
Company founder and president Tony Khan confirmed as much on Twitter on Monday, with Punk set to join the announce booth for Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood's first ever singles match:-

The two FTR members facing off against each other is a product of their own creative pitch. Having wanted to go one-on-one for a while, Wheeler and Harwood finally get their wish tomorrow night, with the winner of this qualifying bout progressing to the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament proper.
Whoever triumphs will join Samoa Joe, Kyle O'Reilly, and Adam Cole, who have already qualified for the tournament itself.
Several factors tie Punk to FTR, including their shared devotion and appreciation of Bret Hart's pro wrestling craftsmanship and Punk's recent feud with MJF, whom FTR remain loosely affiliated with despite recent attempts to distance themselves from the crumbling Pinnacle.
FTR are currently in the form of their lives, serving as AAA and ROH Tag Team Champions. Recent matches against The Briscoes and Young Bucks have drawn immense critical praise. A shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles has been teased as well, potentially giving the duo the chance to add to their growing belt collection.
