Cody To Make "Career Announcement" On This Week's AEW Dynamite
What bombs will 'The American Nightmare' drop ahead of Full Gear?
Cody challenges for Chris Jericho's AEW World Championship at the promotion's Full Gear pay-per-view in Baltimore, Maryland this Saturday (9 November), and it looks like 'The American Nightmare' has something big up his sleeve for Dynamite's go-home episode.
Per Cody himself on Twitter, this week's Dynamite will see him "uninterrupted" and given "the chance to make my career announcement," having previously teased such a thing for the 23 October episode.
The Inner Circle interrupted Cody's prior attempt at making this announcement. AEW's number one contender was in the ring with Tony Schiavone, ready to share his news, when Jericho and co. interrupted with airhorns and insults, leading to Cody leading a force of MJF, Dustin Rhodes, and Diamond Dallas Page to invade the Inner Circle's private suite and brawl with the heels on the concourse.
There's currently no word on what Cody might have up his sleeve for this coming Wednesday, though the Jericho bout is understandably being put over as the biggest of the former Stardust's career.
AEW have also confirmed a tag bout pitting the Inner Circle's Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega for Dynamite.
