Just in time for his epic showdown with Conor McGregor at UFC 246, Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone has had his face plastered on a Budweiser can.

The news broke on Brett Okamoto's Instagram account on Monday that the long time veteran of the Octagon was being gifted the honour of appearing on the side of his favourite beer - who just so happen to sponsor the star, too.

Showcasing the free-spirited fighter in his trademark cowboy hat, the can also details the records that he holds within the UFC, with his 23 wins, 16 finishes, 18 post-fight bonuses, 20 knockdowns and 7 knockouts via kick all being printed under his image.

A clearly humbled 'Cowboy' spoke of how he wanted "all of the blue collar American working class people to know that I’m out there fighting for them," and that he wanted them to know "there is hope, and I’m out there just like they are."

Cerrone will earn his career biggest fight purse after this titanic clash, but little pieces of personal memorabilia like this will no doubt mean as much to him as any extra cash to blow on a few more quad bikes and paintball guns.
