'The Runaway' made a surprise appearance following Anna Jay A S' loss to Willow Nightingale, attacking Jay's best friend and tag partner Tay Melo in an act of revenge on the woman responsible for taking her out of action earlier this year.

Soho was last seen on screen on the All Out 2022 Zero Hour pre-show on the losing end of an AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship match alongside Ortiz against titleholders Melo and her husband Sammy Guevara. The match was somewhat infamous after the fact for two specifically violent moments in which Soho absorbed damage to her nose and later her neck. Commentary noted that it was the broken nose that had kept Ruby on the shelf all this time, explaining why she'd returned to target the Jericho Appreciation Society heels.

Concluding her attack with a Destination Unknown on the ramp to Melo, Soho left with hands in pocket and smile on face, indicating an impending return to action and likely one more showdown between the two rivals.
