Julia Hart has admitted she "was over" her old cheerleading gimmick before AEW hit the repackage button and reimagined her character as a key member in House Of Black.

Hart told 'Wilde On' that the cheerleader stuff "was a good starter", but it was never going to be long-term. Nonetheless, Julia appreciated being able to appear on television in a role she was comfortable playing. The cheerleading gimmick definitely had a shelf life though, and it was only a matter of time before she branched out into something new.

She was ready to "embrace" that change, and was pleased when Tony Khan informed her what was coming next. Working alongside Malakai Black (someone Hart described as "just a brain of knowledge"), Buddy Matthews and Brody King has been an absolute treat.

House Of Black are the reigning AEW Trios Champions, and Julia has been able to show her own in-ring chops over the past few months too. She worked a series of matches across Dynamite and Rampage vs. Anna Jay in April and May, for example.

The 21 year old is really just getting started, but is glad to see the back of cheering.
