Current AEW Star Pitches "One More" World Title Run
It'd be a HUGE shock if Tony Khan made this AEW World Title switch happen.
Jeff Hardy has said he "hopes deep within [his] soul" that AEW will give him "one more solo World Championship title reign" someday.
The veteran told MuscleManMalcolm that he also has his eyes firmly trained on a possible AEW Tag-Team Title run for The Hardy Boys in the near future. That, most fans would surely agree, sounds way more plausible in 2023 than Jeff challenging for and winning the World Title on his own.
Hardy recently came through another controversial period in his turbulent personal life, and All Elite boss Tony Khan has received plaudits for standing by Jeff despite those much-publicised problems. Now, the former WWE man wants to repay his current employer by putting in excellent performances and proving his worth all over again.
Jeff revealed he chuckles every time he hears current champ MJF say he's "the devil on a different level"; that hits home with Hardy, because he plans to come out of his "own personal hell" and say he "achieved a World Championship within [his] own personal heaven once again".
That, he says, would make his wrestling career feel "complete".
