Current AEW star Keith Lee has described himself as "an anomaly", and has explained why he doesn't practice moves/spots before performing them in front of live crowds or on TV.

Lee told Fightful's Grapsody podcast that he doesn't like the thought of trying out things like moonsaults, dives out of the ring, monkey flips or other spots ahead of time. He'd much rather just feel it in the heat of the moment, and trusts himself to be able to pull them off without incident.

Whilst Keith believes that "training is a good thing to do", he definitively stated: "I don’t do in-ring training". The veteran, who debuted back in 2005, says he's "confident" in his ability to perform things safely when it matters most.

That's what he means by "anomaly" - Lee knows that others "hurt themselves trying to do these things on the regular", but he chooses not to painstakingly rehearse spots ahead of major matches. That's a risk, clearly, but it's one the ex-WWE man is willing to take.

He's never really had any issues with his approach anyway. Injuries have been minimal throughout his career.
