Tag-team great, multi-time champion and WWE Hall Of Famer D-Von Dudley recently stated that a "certain higher up" once said they didn't like him "because of the colour of [his] skin". Initially, D-Von didn't name that person, but he's since gone on record during an interview with the Duke Loves Rasslin podcast to reveal that he's talking about iconic announcer Jim Ross.

Earlier, D-Von had said that these comments took place somewhere between 1999-2000, and he's never forgotten them. However, Dudley told Duke that he's decided that the best course of action is to forgive. D-Von hasn't spoken to JR about any of this, but noted that Ross hasn't ever come up to him to address things or apologise for what was said in the past either.

In fact, D-Von believes Jim would claim that he simply doesn't remember.

Whilst Dudley certainly wishes JR all the best as he battles against various health issues, the legendary tag-teamer has said he was left "very hurt, very bothered by what that man had said on 2 separate occasions". D-Von also said that Ross could "deny it all he wants" - he had witnesses. Bubba/Bully Ray Dudley was there, Spike Dudley was present, and so was original ECW owner Paul Heyman.

POST Wrestling, who collated prior comments from D-Von about this subject, reached out to Jim Ross for comments. They've yet to receive anything back, and it's unclear whether or not this is something JR will address via his own social media streams or podcast.

After revealing that he'd been talking about Jim, D-Von added: "I’m not angry at the man today".
