Damian Priest Wants THIS WWE NXT Man In Judgment Day
Edge has been booted out of WWE's Judgment Day group; Damian Priest wants this wrestler in!
Damian Priest says he would pick none other than Santos Escobar if asked to choose a new Judgment Day member from NXT 2.0.
Priest told TV Insider that he's been impressed by Escobar since day one. The Raw star went on to call Santos "great in the ring and well-spoken" on the mic - Damian is also smitten with the fact that Santos "doesn't look like a random person; he looks like a star".
That means a lot in WWE circles, and Priest knows it.
Judgment Day underwent quite the change on this past Monday's episode of Raw. There, Damian and Rhea Ripley booted leader Edge out of the group and replaced him with Finn Bàlor. Perhaps weirdly, Bálor had been pinned by the heel stable 24 hours before at Hell In A Cell.
The Irishman had been teaming with AJ Styles and Liv Morgan, but that faction is obviously dead now Finn has taken over Judgment Day.
WWE may look to add another member or two before re-settling the group. Priest's pick would be Escobar, because he's "a fan" of what the former NXT Cruiserweight Champ brings to the table.
