The Judgment Day's Punishment was not one of the top picks among many fans, though he definitely had an outside shot of winning. Priest took out LA Knight -- who was the clear fan favorite -- with a Broken Arrow off the ladder, and then retrieved the briefcase. This also served to dispel fans' fears that social media maverick Logan Paul was going to swoop in and steal the win.

The major win comes after a string of high-profile moments for Damian, including a feud and PLE match with former running buddy Bad Bunny, and a well-received World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins.

Priest signed with WWE in 2018, joining NXT where he became North American Champion. He would debut on the main roster at the 2021 Royal Rumble and partnered with Bunny from the outset. The two had a tag match against the Mizand John Morrison at WrestleMania 37, WWE's first show with fans since the onset of the pandemic. He won the United States Championship that summer.

As a member of the Judgment Day, Priest has become an integral part of multiple storylines on Raw and some of the most entertaining segments. It seems like WWE has decided to go in on the superstar after seeing him hold his own on the red brand.
