Dana White Wants Brock Lesnar Vs. Jon Jones UFC Super Fight

Could the UFC President finally make this super fight happen?

Now that Brock Lesnar is technically a free agent following the expiry of his WWE contract this past April, could it be that The Beast makes yet another return to the Octagon? If UFC President Dana White gets his way, we could yet see Lesnar return to the fight game.

After the news broke earlier this week that Lesnar was a free agent, Jon Jones yesterday took to Twitter to throw out a challenge to Brock.

Since then, White has revealed to TMZ Sports that he’s keen to put this super fight together should Brock have a genuine interest in competing in the UFC again.

Lesnar last fought in the UFC back at 2016’s UFC 200 event, with a dominant victory over Mark Hunt the order of the day that night for Brock. Of course, that result was later overturned after Lesnar tested positive in a pre-fight drug test.

If Lesnar is indeed swayed by the lucrative payday a dream fight against former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones would bring, he’d first have to pay an outstanding fine in order to get back into USADA’s testing pool following that previous positive test result.

Jones has recently vacated the Light Heavyweight Championship in order to move up to the heavyweight ranks – and few fights, if any, will bring in as many eyes (and buys!) than Jones squaring off against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

Despite the prospect of Jones vs. Lesnar, the belief is still that Brock will ultimately re-sign with WWE once the ongoing global situation (and the subsequent travel issues caused by it) eases.

The last time we saw Brock Lesnar was at WrestleMania 36, where Brock lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre.
