In one of the more surprising swerves in recent memory, ‘Smart’ Mark Sterling and ‘The Premier Athlete’ Tony Nese have issued a challenge to face Danhausen during the 7 May 2022 episode of AEW Rampage.

It remains unclear whether Nese intends to take on ‘The Very Nice, Very Evil’ star on Dynamite or on Rampage, this encounter will take place in Nese’s hometown of Long Island, New York.

Another lingering uncertainty is whether ‘The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil’ will be in Danhausen’s corner for the match, an opportunity presented to the 23-year-old following his decisive victory over JD Drake.

Though Hook rejected Danhausen’s offer by shoving the delightfully demented star mid-proposition, Danhausen still may have convinced him to come to his aid regardless.

While slinking out of the ring in defeat, Danhausen left behind a small bag of chips adorned with a bow for Hook as a birthday present, inspiring what can only be described as ‘aggravated contemplation’ from the young prodigy as Danhausen continued his retreat to the back.

Hook may have elected to leave the chips in the ring after the encounter, the conflict in Hook to align with Danhausen rages on.
