Daniel Bryan Heading To AEW?
Could the American Dragon soon become #AllElite?
Could Daniel Bryan be heading to AEW? According to Dave Meltzer, the American Dragon may - just may - have a chance of soon becoming #AllElite.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer and Garrett Gonzales discussed the possibility of Bryan signing with Tony Khan's promotion. While Dave didn't specifically state that D-Bry would sign with AEW, he was very much leaning towards the Yes! Man being the most likely of the current crop of wrestling free agents to end up in AEW.
Of course, Meltzer also pinpointed Kenny Omega as being an obvious potential opponent for Bryan Danielson if this AEW signing somehow came off.
This all follows rumblings that Tony Khan has some major surprises up his sleeve for the next few months, with 22 September's AEW Grand Slam talked up as a show where something big could go down - not least because that event is to take place from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York in front of a sold-out 17,000 crowd.
Other big-name free agents available right now also include CM Punk and Brock Lesnar, with Punk having always said he'll entertain a return to the squared circle for the right payday - whilst Lesnar is similarly extremely business-minded with such decisions.
