From this group of 40, WWE will narrow it down to 13 men and women who be finalists on the actual Tough Enough show that airs on USA Network in two weeks on June 23. The 40 finalists will be invited to a mini-camp at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando from June 10-12 and WWE will film that process leading to a WWE Network special that will air on Tuesday June 16 at 8e/7c, which is one week before the series begins on USA Network. One of the final 40 is Adam Ohriner, who is a good friend of Zack Ryder's that goes by the name of The Big O. When Ryder was doing his "Z True Long Island Story" show on Youtube a few years ago, the Big O was one of his his friends that was on there regularly. He built up a fanbase, but at the time he didn't have much wresting experience. He's gone through wrestling school, worked a lot of indy shows in the northeast and built up a nice name for himself. Ryder spoke about his friend in a Youtube video that was taped at Raw.Another notable name on there is Chelsea Green, who appeared on an episode of Raw last year as Daniel Bryan's physical therapist using the name Megan Miller. During that episode last summer, Stephanie McMahon suggested that Bryan was having an affair with but that never went anywhere and they never used her in the storyline again.
It was noted by F4WOnline.com that most of the finalists fall into categories of male bodybuilders and fitness models with some models and athletes sprinkled in. There are also some of them that are already independent wrestlers. For more info on Tough Enough visit WWEToughEnough.com.
