The Forbidden Door between IMPACT Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling has been open since December 2020, when a Don Callis-assisted AEW World Title win over Jon Moxley brought Kenny Omega to the Anthem-helmed promotion, inviting others to follow.

The likes of The Good Brothers, Frankie Kazarian, Christian Cage, and Christopher Daniels have all jumped back and forth. Conspicuous by their absence, however, are the entire AEW women's and IMPACT Knockouts divisions.

Perhaps that will change if IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo gets her way.

Per Fightful Select, Purrazzo has approached IMPACT executive vice president Scott D'Amore about the possibility of inter-promotional work with AEW. Specifically, she has spoken about wrestling AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker, who has reportedly floated the same idea with her promoter, Tony Khan.

Purrazzo has told the outlet that it would be difficult for the involved parties to come up with a match outcome satisfactory for everyone involved, given that she and Baker are top champions. She has, however, suggested the idea of working as part of a tag team, with Britt and Chelsea Green as prospective partners.

An IMPACT standout since jumping ship following her WWE release in 2020, Purrazzo is currently 341 days into her second reign as Knockouts Champion.
