Celebrated aerialist Ricochet, dominant duo War Machine and independent favourite Candice LeRae all reported to the WWE Performance Center as official confirmation broke of their respective signings with the company on January 18th.

The news comes as yet more NXT main roster potentially loom either side of Royal Rumble weekend, with the quartet expected to bolster the Developmental League with immediate effect.

LeRae's signing was cynically welcomed on Twitter by Tommaso Ciampa to add heat to his simmering rivalry with her real-life husband Johnny Gargano. Her involvement in last year's Mae Young Classic also reflects some familiarity with the WWE audience at large and should stand her in good stead alongside fellow tourney alumni Shayna Baszler, Sarah Logan and Lacey Evans.

War Machine tore through Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling with an updated slant on an vintage pro wrestling trope. Untamed dystopian monsters, the pair earned ROH and IWGP Tag Team Titles thanks to a sensational and impactful working style for men their size. They'll presumably look to outperform fellow mammoth pairings The Wyatt Family and The Ascension in their own company trajectories.

The biggest hitter of the bunch, Ricochet's 2016 Best Of The Super Juniors clash with Will Ospreay divided the wrestling audience between fury and feverish adoration for the unparalleled athleticism on display. He took advantage of the attention though, carving out a niche as arguably the most well-rounded junior heavyweight in the world. His incredible strength propels him past cruiserweight level - if WWE wish to utilise it.
