Dexter Lumis LOSES 'Love Her Or Lose Her' Match On WWE NXT, Must Leave Indi Hartwell Alone
Thanks to Johnny Gargano, Index are no longer a thing in NXT... or are they?!
Dexter Lumis lost his Love Her or Lose Her match )for Indi Hartwell's hand) to Johnny Gargano on last night's WWE NXT, but their relationship storyline might not be over yet.
The bout's rules stipulated that if Lumis defeated Gargano, "Index" could endure, but a loss to The Way's leader meant he would have to leave her alone forever. Hartwell ended up taking a bump towards the end, with Dexter accidentally knocking her off the apron and into Candice LeRae's arms. Johnny took advantage of this, DDT'ing Lumis on the floor before taking him inside, hitting One Final Beat, and scoring the pin.
WWE appeared to go back on the stipulation seconds later. Though Hartwell was initially led away from ringside by The Way, she broke free, ran into the squared circle, and made out with Lumis regardless.

WWE has caught flak for certain parts of the Index storyline, and specifically the 18 May NXT segment that saw Lumis massage the unknowing LeRae and Hartwell during a spa trip. Whether or not it will endure beyond last night's Love Her or Lose Her match remains to be seen.
