Ronda Rousey's comments during a recent YouTube video were very interesting.

Speaking via her latest 'Ronda On The Road', the reigning SmackDown Women's Champ said that she wanted this title run to be the "most active that [fans] see from anybody". In other words, Rousey wants to defend that belt regularly on TV as well as pay-per-view.

Then, Ronda might've revealed something else about day-to-day WWE life; the champion said that "Vince doesn’t see me playing the invincible monster like Brock [Lesnar]". Vince! As in, Vince McMahon. As in, the same Vince McMahon who retired from WWE back in July and seemingly ceded control of all creative affairs to son-in-law Triple H.

If Rousey is still having conversations with McMahon about the direction of her character, does...that mean the old boss is still calling some shots behind the scenes? Why else would Ronda even mention him if not? Surely she'd talk about "Paul"/Triple H, or even somebody like Stephanie McMahon instead.

Keep in mind that Rousey was discussing her most recent run with the belt. That didn't start until October (she beat Liv Morgan at Extreme Rules), which was after Vince had formally retired.
