Did THIS Wrestler Quietly Leave WWE Without Anyone Knowing?!
This ex-WWE star could be lined up as a surprise on IMPACT's next pay-per-view.
PWInsider is reporting that Eric Young was spotted at an airport on Friday afternoon, which adds credence to recent rumours that EY has quietly departed WWE and will return on IMPACT's upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view this Saturday night.
Most fans raised eyebrows when news broke that Young was apparently back in WWE at all anyway - he was reportedly re-signed by Triple H last year, but hasn't appeared on company television. Earlier this year, rumours suggested Eric was learning the ropes backstage and even helping out the creative team.
Nobody seems to know what's really going on here, but he is rumoured to be Scott D'Amore's surprise partner against Bully Ray and Deaner at Slammiversary. That would likely mean Young has left WWE, although it is also possible that he's received special permission to work the show.
Don't rule that out either. No, WWE doesn't make a habit of letting wrestlers appear for other companies, but they did give Shinsuke Nakamura permission to work for NOAH in January (against Great Muta), so it's hardly impossible.
This is one to keep an eye on. IMPACT's upcoming PPV will reveal all!
