Did WWE Just Botch Keith Lee's RAW Debut?

Seriously though, WHY did they change his music?!

Keith Lee officially debuted on WWE RAW last night, getting into it with Randy Orton 24 hours after 'The Viper' had wrestled Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, then fighting Orton to a no-contest later in the show.

Sounds like an effective way to debut an NXT star, right? Unfortunately not. WWE is already facing significant backlash for several changes to Lee's aesthetic.

Once the proud owner of one of the company's best entrance themes - a booming trap banger with bass heavier than 'The Limitless One' himself - Lee had his track downgraded to a generic slab of jobberiffic butt-rock. On top of that, WWE changed his ring gear away from standard trunks to a sleeveless rashguard and loose-fitting shorts, leaving the big man looking like a blown-up version of Shorty G.

A Change.org petition has already been set up to fix the entrance theme back. One need only spend a few minutes browsing Twitter, Reddit, and other social platforms to see the changes have not gone down well.

Lee vs. Orton ended in a no-contest when McIntyre interfered, leading to a rematch being booked for this Sunday's Payback pay-per-view.
