Dolph Ziggler Replaces Christian in WWE Survivor Series Elimination Match

By Matt Holmes /

Dolph Ziggler was announced last night on RAW as Christian's replacement in the Team Orton vs. Team Barrett five-on-five man traditional elimination match at this Sunday's WWE Survivor Series PPV. As we reported last week, Christian suffered a knee injury on the European tour and will be out of action for several weeks. The Survivor Series elimination match will now be; Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, Kofi Kingston & Sin Cara vs. Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Hunico & Dolph Ziggler This likely means that Ziggler will once again be doing double duty on the PPV, just as he did at Vengeance last month. It was previously announced that Ziggler would defend his U.S. title once again against Zack Ryder at the PPV. Many of us expected Ryder to win the U.S. Title given how huge he has got himself over with the crowd lately and how WWE don't seem to have much going on for Ziggler right now.
