A surprising match has just been announced for next week's episode of AEW Dynamite, with the promotion confirming Hangman Page will go one-on-one with the debuting Ryan Nemeth.

Nemeth, 36, is the younger brother of WWE veteran Dolph Ziggler. He was part of WWE development system between 2011 and 2013, competing as Briley Pierce, capturing the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships alongside Brad Maddox in November 2011, though he has kept a relatively quiet wrestling schedule since departing. His last match was for Los Angeles-based indie group NHW in July 2018.

There's currently no indication that Nemeth has signed a contract with AEW yet, though eagle-eyed viewers may have caught him in the Dynamite crowd last week.

Nemeth was a close friend of Brodie Lee, who passed away in December. Page, meanwhile, turned down the chance to join Lee's old group, The Dark Order, on this week's Dynamite, disappointing John Silver and co. in the process.

Here's how the upcoming Dynamite card looks like with the new addition:-
