Dr. Martha Hart & Family At AEW Dynamite
Dr. Martha, Oje, and Athena Hart were in the house for last night's AEW Dynamite.
Members of the late, great Owen Hart's immediate family were in attendance for last night's episode of AEW Dynamite in Long Island, New York.
The show marked the true start of the collaborative Owen Hart Foundation men's and women's tournament, which had been built towards through several weeks of qualifiers. Owen's widow, Dr. Martha Hart, was shown in the crowd several times during the broadcast, watching first-round contests between Adam Cole and Dax Harwood, Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter, and Jeff Hardy and Darby Allin play out.
Owen and Dr. Martha's children, Oje and Athena, were also in attendance - and sat alongside their mother.
AEW founder and president Tony Khan tweeted the following photograph of himself with the Hart family ahead of the broadcast:-
Tonight on #AEWDynamite next on @TBSNetwork @ 8pm ET/7pm CT, the inaugural Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament begins on a huge night of pro wrestling!

Martha founded the Owen Hart Foundation as a means of honouring her late husband's legacy in 2000, doing so after a year-and-a-half long legal battle with WWE for Owen's wrongful death, which ultimately resulted in an $18 million settlement for the Hart family. September 2021 brought the announcement of the Owen tournaments as part of a new, expensive relationship between AEW and the Foundation.
