McIntyre featured alongside Hardy and partner Xavier Woods against The Bloodline in the 'Charismatic Enigma's final match. Footage of Hardy's erratic behaviour during and after the match was shared online ahead of his release, but speaking to DAZN, (h/t EWrestling News) McIntyre offered this on the clash and his former colleague's current situation;

“For one, as usual, the internet can take something and blow out of proportion. But all I’ll say on the matter is I just want what’s best for Jeff and for him to be healthy. As long as he’s good, as long as he’s healthy, as long as he’s happy with his family, then Drew McIntyre is happy.”

Encouraging words from the Scottish Warrior, as shared by most in the wrestling community following the news. Various conflicting stories and rumours broke following Hardy's December release, but little has been formally broached over the holidays. Currently in the middle of his 90-day non-compete clause, Hardy will be able to resume wrestling should he wish in March 2022.
