The former WWE Champion used this week's Raw to take a dig at AEW Revolution.

Following the events of the recent AEW Revolution PPV, it appears as if two-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre used last night’s episode of Raw to throw some shade in the direction of All Elite Wrestling.

Ahead of the Raw main event of current WWE Champ Bobby Lashley vs. Sheamus, the Scottish Warrior cut a promo about certain guarantees that MVP had made.

As McIntyre put it, “That’s such a dangerous thing to do in this industry, because if you make a guarantee and don’t deliver, fans get upset and sparks fly”.

Of course, many are reading into this as a dig at AEW. That’s due to how Revolution’s Exploding Death Match bout between AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley went off the air with a Gillberg-esque whimper – after something truly ‘explosive’ had been hyped up by the promotion.

It was a good night for McIntyre by the time all was said and done with Raw. Not only had he bested The Miz and then left Lashley laying with a Claymore Kick, it was also confirmed that the Scot will be challenging for the All Mighty's WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37 next month.
