EC3 Officially Signs A Contract With ROH
Former Impact World Champion is no longer a free agent after ROH return.
EC3 has officially signed his first post-WWE contract.
Despite an earlier report from Fightful Select stating he would perhaps be departing the company following their Final Battle pay-per-view last December, 'The Essential Character' has now officially signed across the dotted line with Ring Of Honor.
The company announced this on social media late Thursday afternoon:-
After departing WWE in April, 'The Essential Character' enjoyed a brief stint in old home Impact Wrestling, losing a Bound For Glory cinematic encounter to Moose. Upon arriving in ROH, EC3 initiated a rivalry with The Briscoes, with a bout vs. Jay Briscoe at Final Battle being postponed due to EC3 testing positive for COVID-19.
This announcement comes just days after EC3 returned to ROH programming, confronting Briscoe on their latest weekly episode following his and Mark Briscoe's loss in a World Tag Team Championships contendership match to Dragon Lee and Kenny King, representing La Faccion Ingobernable. Unlike before, he's an official roster member.
He now joins fellow recently released WWE alum Mike Bennett in Ring of Honor. Of those April releases, only a few remain official free agents, including Erick Rowan, The Colons, and Aiden English. Could any of them jump to ROH's payroll?
